Marsha Dimes is the founder of Marsha & Friends Fabulous Cruise - now known as Big Fabulous Cruise. She was named 2019 Dallas Pride Grand Marshal and led Marsha & Friends Drag Brunch for 7 years, a drag brunch benefiting North Texas LGBTQ+ organizations. Together with her Sisters-in-Action (her squad of charity drag performers), they have more than $250,000 for charity since November 2017. Starting in March 2020, her series of virtual events have raised $29,135 to support various pandemic-focused relief efforts.

Marsha has received many honors since starting her debut performance in 2008, including awards from the Turtle Creek Chorale and Prism Health North Texas. In 2019, Marsha was selected as Grand Marshal for the 2019 Dallas Pride Parade and in 2021 hosted the two-night Dallas Pride Miller Lite Festival.

In 2019, Marsha was the first drag queen to speak at the Association of Fundraising Professionals International Conference in a session entitled "Don't be a Drag. Just Be a Queen: How to Rule with LGBTQ+ Donors". Marsha Dimes won the title of Miss Big Thickette in 2018 by being the person who raised the most money and many attendees are still in therapy following her attempt to sing “I am What I am”.
